Our Sharpening System
We sharpen most knife blades on a custom built low speed horizontal belt grinder. The low speed belt is essential to keep from heating the blade and ruining the temper. Our sharpener has a unique clamping system and guide to get perfectly consistent angle every time.

Perfectly Polished Razor Sharp Edge
We begin the sharpening with a 120 grit belt to remove nicks and bring up a consistent burr. We then move to 600 grit to create a finer edge and begin to remove the burr. Finally the blade is brought to a mirror finish with a felt polishing belt. This blade will now give you months of satisfying service. Don’t forget to touch it up every once in a while with a honing steel to extend that satisfaction.
